Description
This is a simple recipe for peanut butter overnight oats, adapted from a recipe I found in the Kilner cookbook. It serves one person, but just up the quantities if you’re making for more.
Ingredients
- 45g oats
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- 2 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
- 120ml milk
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Get all your dry ingredients together and put them in to your jar of choice (I use one with a clip and a seal if I am likely to have them cold, or a regular jam jar if I’m going to heat it up the next day).
Add in the vanilla, peanut butter and honey. Mix together as best you can, then add in the milk and mix through until there are no major clusters around the peanut butter.
Leave overnight in the fridge and in the morning you will have peanut butter overnight oats. Add your favourite toppings as desired.
